The song is about attraction on a biological level....however that doesn't mean it's from a heterosexual perspective.I believe that we are all wired to procreate.Our attractions are based on the need to procreate.So I may be attracted to my partner because he is verile or tall or stout.Consciously I'm just like yeah I think he's cute.But there is a part of me that sees beyond the present into the future or "horizon".Our biology pushes forward always beyond our immediate wants whether we think it does or not.
So really on a larger scale the song is about nature and it's need to continue.I don't view humans as being seperate from nature .We are part of it.
A hill with a road on it is a perfect example of how humans find their place in nature and become part of the process of continuance consciously.

I wrote this song on my mothers piano.I started with a simple rhythm on middle C and then the melody came to me with the lyrics.I quickly called my house and left the piano part and the melody on my answering machine.When I got home and listened to it the piano was distorted and sounded like a guitar.
I then realized that the piano I wrote it on was the piano I was stabbed on by my ex-partner.He literally was stabbing down on my chest and my body was hitting the piano.
I used our ideas and attitutes towards spiders to reflect our carelessness with each other and how our decisions affect others lives.
In the video my friend Diametro represents the spider which represents our ideas about relationships.
In a larger sense the video is about transference.Most of the new CD has this theme running through it.
